We are a tight knit group of 4, who enjoy helping our clients succeed.

At Fitzgerald Chartered Accountants all of the team are experienced Accountants so any one of us can deal with your queries.

Sean Fitzgerald, Principal

Sean holds a Certificate of Public Practice from the New Zealand Institute of Chartered Accountants, meaning he is authorised to offer accounting services to the public.

Sean has worked in the firm for the past 19 years, qualifying as a Chartered Accountant in 1992.

He spent 2 years working in London for a French bank as a Management Accountant, and was the Financial Controller for an advertising agency. Prior to this Sean worked in New Zealand for AMP and the NZ Motor Corporation as a Management Accountant.

"What I enjoy most about being a Chartered Accountant is helping my clients achieve their goals", says Sean.

In his spare time Sean enjoys singing and performing on the stage. However, with the birth of his first child in June 2009, the amount of spare time he now has is a lot less than what it used to be !

Wendy

Wendy joined us in July 2018, having previously worked for 2 other Hutt Valley accounting firms for more than 20 years. As such, she brings a real breadth and depth of knowledge and experience to her work.

Louise

Louise has been with us since May 2016, having previously worked with Public Trust for many years, in both Upper Hutt and Lower Hutt.

Stevie

The newest addition to the team is Stevie, who joined us in September 2021; although, having said that, Stevie had previously worked with us in 2014 and 2015.
